Plus, the magnetic stripe encoder included with this DTC550 produces high and low-coercivity stripes on tracks 1, 2 and 3 for the most durable stripes possible. Both printing and encoding takes place in a single pass.
Use your secure network connection to your advantage and purchase the optional Ethernet connection, which will allow authorized users to print from anywhere over a network while keeping the printer itself in a secure location. Consider purchasing a lamination module for cards that are more difficult to counterfeit. If you like, you may purchase smart card and/or proximity card encoding modules that are field-upgradeable.
