With its host of encoding options and high print speed, the Fargo DTC550-LC provides an excellent card printing solution for corporations, universities, local or state government offices and other large organizations. Including lamination, the DTC550-LC produces one card every 34 seconds, and if you opt to purchase a magnetic stripe encoder or a smart card (contact and proximity) encoder, printing, encoding and lamination all takes place in one round through the printer. When you laminate your ID cards, you add another level of security and durability to cards that would otherwise wear out much faster. Use holographic overlaminate as an easy visual security measure.
The DTC550-LC offers easy networking for organizations who wish to allow multiple users to create or print cards on a LAN. Take advantage of optional built-in Ethernet so that you can keep your printer in a secure location, where only you or any other authorized individual can access the printed cards.
