Avery 2900 Visitor ID Software

Kit includes software CD and photo ID starter pack
System requires computer, monitor, ink-jet photo printer, a standard USB compatible web camera, bar code scanner and a USB hub.

Printer: The system works with USB-based photo capable ink jet printers which are capable of feeding 4" x 6" sheet size. For optimal performance we recommend printers with speeds of 10 ppm or greater and resolutions of 600 x 600 dpi or greater.

Computer: Windows� 2000 or Windows� XP Professional and Home, Pentium class CPU chip, 600 MHz or better, 64MB RAM, 128MB RAM recommended, 2.0GB HD or more, and USB port. For optimal performance, we recommend Windows� XP Pro, with a minimum of Pentium 4, 1.6-GHz, 256-meg RAM, CD-ROM drive, and a 10/100 Ethernet port. An LCD flat panel display is also recommended.

Camera: The quality of the badge image depends upon the quality of the camera you use. The camera will need to be USB based. We recommend cameras with at least 640 x 480 video capture resolution operating at 30 or more frames per second (fps).

Scanner: The use of a bar code scanner with the system is optional, but highly recommended. The scanner should fit compactly with a stand at the desktop. The scanner should be rated at 44 scans per second (bi-directional) or greater and be USB-based.
