Persona by Fargo is all about simple, reliable and affordable ID card printing.
The Persona M30 by Fargo represents one of the easiest to use, most economical printers ever made for producing ID Cards in monochrome. The Persona M30 incorporates all of Fargo’s reliability and user-friendliness, in a compact package suited for the design of cards and badges of all kinds. Because it’s available in single or dual sided printing models – each printing at the industry standard 300 dpi (dots per inch) the M30 is built to handle a variety of ID Card printing requirements.
The M30 is suited for the following card issuance applications: Customer Rewards and Loyalty Programs; Banking Applications; Membership cards; Telecommunication (Phone Cards); Schools (K-12); Employee Badges (Small Corporate); Visitor Badges; Parks and Recreation; Health Care and Insurance Applications; Casinos; Service Bureau Applications; Recreational Facilities – and more.
The Persona M30’s easy-loading ribbon cartridge design will save you time while eliminating the hassle and mess associated with printers using ordinary ribbons. Your M30’s monochrome printer ribbon can be changed easily – just open the access panel and slide it in! Fargo has equipped the M30 to utilize any of seven monochrome ribbon colors: black, green, blue, red, and white (with each cartridge producing 1000 cards), as well as silver and gold (with each cartridge producing 500 cards).
The Persona M30 features the ability to print using optional clear plastic overlays, along with your choice of resin black, or dye-sublimation black. These optional ribbons will add years of life to your cards, and protect them from wear and tear, smudges and abrasions while doing it. The M30 is designed to accept CR80 cards of PVC Plastic or Polyester (monochrome resin ribbons are required when using polyester cards,) and CR79 cards with an adhesive back.
Fargo has equipped the Persona M30 with a 100-card input feeder and a 30-card output hopper – for use with identification card and badge software that accommodates batch printing, such as Fargo’s Build-A-Badge™ ID Card Software (included with the purchase of your Persona M30.) Each ribbon includes a cleaning roller that keeps the M30 in optimal shape for years to come. The M30’s Field upgradeable magnetic stripe encoding option allows for more card customization choices.
The Persona M30 is USB equipped to allow connectivity with the latest versions of Windows®, and features a standard two-year printer and printhead warranty. With your computer and Fargo’s Build-A-Badge™ Software, the Persona is the heart of a state-of-the-art card issuance program.
