The Prima is Magicard’s top-shelf ID card printer. It’s built to handle high-volume runs and is capable of creating highly secure photo ID badges with a host of encoding options and security features. The Magicard Prima uses reverse-transfer printing to produce ID cards that are not only detailed and vivid, but also well-protected from everyday wear and tear. The reverse-transfer process involves printing on the backside of a transparent re-transfer film which is then laminated onto the face of a PVC card.
