Magicard Badge Printers Product Focus: Magicard Alto
Perfect for organizations with low-volume ID card needs, the Magicard Alto is an extremely compact and portable, hand-fed badge printer. The Alto weighs only 7 pounds and can be set up and operational in mere minutes.
While the package is small, the results are top notch. The Alto prints high-quality, professional ID badges with full-color edge-to-edge printing and 300 dpi resolution. The system also includes Magicard’s patented Holokote technology – a holographic overlaminate that protects the cards from tampering and forgery as well as general damage from the daily grind. The optional magnetic stripe encoder adds further functionality for more sophisticated ID badge solutions.
As an entry-level badge printer, the Alto is very easy to operate. It features a user-friendly printer driver and utilizes pre-loaded card dispensers and drop-in ribbon cassettes which simplify the printing process for new users.
