Built to handle the unique needs of large-scale, high-security ID card programs, the Fargo HDP600 LC printer is loaded with powerful features. It uses an innovative high definition printing process to deliver outstanding image quality surpassing that of traditional ID card printers. With the HDP600 LC, images and text are first printed on the underbelly of a high definition film, then fused to the card's surface. This process improves image quality, adds durability, and is ideal for printing technology cards with uneven surfaces.

The printer also includes a lamination module that provides cards with an additional layer of protection from the rigors of everyday use as well as tampering. Lamination can significantly extend the life of your ID cards. For further functionality, the Fargo HDP600 offers E-card encoding modules for magnetic stripe, proximity card, smart card, and contactless smart card encoding.
