Dual-Sided Printing
Dual-sided printing is an ideal printing method for companies and organizations that need to efficiently print ID cards with variable information on the back side. Dual-sided printers save time and resources by printing on both sides of an ID card in one pass. While single-sided printers can be used to print dual-sided cards, users must manually flip and reload ID cards to print on each side.
Dual-sided printing also allow more room for a variety of design elements, security features and cardholder or company information such as magnetic stripe encoding, embedded electronics, holographic seals and more. Dual-sided printers are available from all major manufacturers including Fargo, Zebra and Magicard and come in models ranging from basic dual-sided printing right on up to sophisticated dual-sided printers for multifunctional technology cards.
