The ScanShell 800 is a mobile, color scanning device that reads and extracts data and images from ID cards, drivers’ licenses, business cards, checks, photos and more. A convenient solution for fast and accurate data entry, the ScanShell 800 uses optical character recognition to collect and automatically input that information into database record fields. The scanner seamlessly integrates with Alpha Card ID Card Software and Alpha Track Visitor Management Software.

The device is compact and fits into virtually any office environment. It connects directly to any standard USB port, is Twain-compatible, and requires no external power adaptor.
