The latest 5.0 versions of AlphaCard software have a range of improvements across editions including support for Microsoft Access 2007, the ability to configure separate printers for printing cards and reports, Canon flash camera support, improved database performance when connecting to large or remote databases, photo face detection, auto-crop, improved MS SQL functionality and more.

In addition to the features listed above, AlphaTrack version 5.0 software also boasts improvements of its own including the ability to deactivate and reactivate the software to move it to another workstation and a feature that provides a snapshot of the day’s visitors.

AlphaCard and AlphaTrack version 5.0 software can be installed right on top of earlier versions of the software. Earlier versions of AlphaCard and AlphaTrack are not compatible with the latest 5.0 release, which means that different versions of the software cannot be run on the same PC. If you have multiple installations of the software that share data, each installation must be updated.
