Zebra's Performance Class card printers are getting an upgrade, thanks to new firmware and driver versions that offer a number of key enhancements. These updates apply to all Zebra P330i, P330m, and P430i card printers. New printers will include these enhancements, while those of you who are already using one of these printers can immediately download the firmware and driver straight from Zebra.
Key enhancements provided by the update include the following: Improved data download efficiency with USB connectivity (this increases overall print speed 10-15 percent when using full-color ribbons). Up to 50 percent faster speeds for Smart Card contact encoding and MIFARE contactless encoding. Support Microsoft Windows 7 (32 and 64 bit). Increased standard memory to 20 MB
