It's no secret that PVC card printers produce high-quality photo IDs, but did you know many customers also use these machines to print professional business cards? It's a great idea if you want to find a second use for your card printer.

Business cards printed on PVC card stock really stand out from the crowd, especially when you compare them to flimsy paper cards. They're durable, they look great, and they can really impress your peers and clients.

Now, if you're going to use your card printer to produce business cards, odds are you'll want to print on thin 10 mil PVC cards. This is thinner than the cards you likely use for your other ID applications. Just make sure that your printer supports thin-card printing. Many do, including the highly popular Fargo C30e and Fargo DTC400e card printers. Both of these models from Fargo can print on multiple card types, including the thin plastic cards commonly used for business cards.

Designing your business cards is easy, and quite similar to the process of designing your photo IDs. The same software can do the job. Choose a background, the personalize each card with name, tile, contact info, and you can even include the cardholder's photo. Once your design is set, you're ready to print business cards that are sure to impress.
